In Adventures in the Bay, Book 1 of the Adventures Bound with Yuri saga, seven-year-old Yuri has a big imagination, plenty of questions, and an appetite that keeps up with his adventures. Life with his family in California’s Bay Area gives him something new to talk about every day!

From Oakland’s colorful streets to San Francisco’s cable cars, chilly beaches, and busy Pier 39, Yuri finds excitement wherever his family takes him. Along the way, slippery sushi, unexpected weather, and Dad’s never-ending phone calls give him plenty of reasons to laugh, complain, and wonder what will happen next.

With Mom, Dad, Trey, and Kali along for the fun, even an ordinary outing can become a story worth telling. As a trip to St. Louis approaches, Yuri has a whole lot of Bay Area living to squeeze in before takeoff.

Filled with humor, imagination, and memorable family moments, this series celebrates the excitement of discovering new places and the comfort of being surrounded by the people you love. Through Yuri’s eyes, young readers will find that every trip has a story, and adventure can begin long before you reach your destination.
